My ggggrandfather was James Rigby, who according to his military attestation papers, was born in Liverpool Lancs in 1810. His occupation was given as blacksmith. Went to India about 1829, and married Mary Henderson in 1830, at St.Thomas's Mount, Madras. They had 3 children - Margaret Mary Rigby (b 1834 Secunderabad); Joseph William Rigby (b 1836 Jaulna) and Florence Ellen Rigby (b.1839 Bangalore - d. 1912 Wellington, Nilgiris). James married for a second time in about 1850 to Mary Ann Lennon - had 2 children Eliza and Jane. Anyone have a gap in their family history for this man?
