My grandfather John Ples Riggins born Nov 10, 1856, Died Mar 16, 1899. Married Tiney Moore on Dec 24, 1884, she was born Feb 5, 1869, she died around 1933/1934, she remarried Henry Vass on Mar 30, 1900. Henry Vass born march 26 1843, possibly hendricks county Iowa. Tiney's family, I believe was brothers Joseph Moore died jan 17, 1914, Ira Moore died Oct 17, 1918, Tom Moore, died Mar 6, 1911, John Moore, died Aug 12, 1907 and sisters Nancy Moore, died Mar 14, 1914, and Sarah Phillips who died Mar 17,1891.

Joe Riggins, my father was was born May 2, 1888 to Tiney and and john. dad died in 1956. He had brothers James Riggins born feb 19, 1890 died Sept 2, 1896. Sim Riggins, born Dec 13, 1897, died in 1983, I believe on his 87th birthday. There were sisters Nannie Riggins born Nov 18, 1885, Grace Lee Riggins born Aug 24, 1892, died June 20, 1894 and Ida Riggins born Sept 6 1894, she married a George Conway.

There were three boys and three girls in my family. Bessie, Mary Francis and Grace, a brother who died shortly after birth, Lawrence Edward born Feb 22 1928, died 1997?,who married Mary Lois Sparks and then there was me Charley Joe born Sept 25, 1930.
