I'm looking for Rike's descending from, or preceding, Hans Reich (b. 1614) in Singen, Baden-Durlach, Germany - actually, Holy Roman Empire at the time. This line came to Pennsylvania ca. 1760, then migrated to North Carolina, then to Indiana around the time of the American Civil War. There were numerous Quakers in this line, it would seem, and the spelling of the surname was switched from Reich to Rike around the time of the migration to Indiana - unclear as to why or how. My two chief sticking points are a couple of weak links immediately preceding the migration to Indiana (ca. 1800 - 1850) and my current origin of the line, Hans Reich. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
