I am Larry Ringold's grandaughter and George was my mother's 'Uncle George.' Laurence _Bennett_ Ringold was the father of George and Larry. I have no information about Steven because I didn't know about him but just as soon as I find out, I will post another reply. Larry lives in Louisiana now with his wife, KayYorgin. He was married 18 years ago to a woman named Barbara Albright. Her father was Lisle Albright: Older brother to Ivan LeLorraine and Malvin Marr Albright, famous artists, featured in Smithsonian. Their father was a famous impressionalist painter named Adam Emory Albright. If you have any more information about the Ringold clan, I would really appreciate knowing it. I plan to make a family tree book for my grandfather. Thank you for your time.

Am looking for information on the Ringold family (especially a daughter) for the 1700s and earlier (possibly in and around Maryland).
All I know is that a Thomas Montgomery married a Ringold daughter (year unknown) and they had three children.
The only one I know about is Thomas Francis Montgomery born in Charles County, MD, on June 17, 1791, and that at age 7 (1798/99?) he was orphaned and raised by an Uncle James Montgomery. At age 21 (1812), Thomas Francis went to Bardstown, KY, later married a Clotilda Wathen and they had 10 children.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can add to my Ringold information.

I know it has been awhile since you have left this post. My name is Patricia Ringold. George was my father. I don't know much about his side of the family. My mother and father divorced when I was young and I saw him on my regular visits. Until he passed on. I don't really know much about his brothers. I guess I don't really have any new information, but I thought I would let you know there are more of us out there :)
Born: 1827, Baltimore, Md. Accredited to: Maryland. G.O. No.: 17, 10 July 1863. Citation: Served as coxswain on board the U.S.S. Wabash in the engagement at Pocataligo, 22 October 1862.
