Andrew Smith b. 1819 in Glastonbury, CT was married to Julia (Risley) according to 1850 census. Children were Charles, Edgar,(my ancestor), Andrew Clarke, Charlotte b. 1853, Leroy b. 1855, and Ellen b. 20 Jun 1859. The name Risley comes from death certificate of Andrew Clarke Smith. Where did Charlotte, Ellen and Julia go? Was Julia Native American, probably Mohegan? Tracing Smiths is so much fun!
