Surnames: Ritter, Hiott
Looking for ANY info on the parentage of John Jacob Ritter of SC. He married Anna Mary Hiott in Colleton County in 1833. I've seen some who identify his father as Jesse, but I have nothing concrete to substantiate that claim. I have hit a serious brick wall. Any help is greatly apppreciated.
