MILTON, Iowa -- Louise Ritz, 84, of Milton, died Dec. 3, 2000, at the Bloomfield Care Center.
Services will be at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Harold Baker will officiate. Burial will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton. Pallbearers will be Michael and Kyle Ritz, Rodney Armstrong, Gary Bechtel, Steven Reckers and Randy Thelander. Honorary bearers will be Keny and Kelly Ritz, Ronnie Bechtel, Danny Phillips and Allen Barquest Jr.
A memorial has been established to Davis County Dollars for Scholars.
Mrs. Ritz was born Aug. 30, 1916, in Milton, the daughter of Charles and Chloe Hale Conlee. She married Reo A. Ritz Sept. 30, 1934, in Bloomfield. He died May 24, 1997.
She was a 1934 graduate of Milton High School.
She was a resident of Milton since 1997 and was a member of the Milton Christian Church. She attended the Memphis Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Ritz of Milton, Charles Ritz of Muscatine; a daughter Garnet Armstrong of Belknap; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother, Hale Conlee of Milton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandson, Shelby Ritz; and two sisters, Madge Strausbaugh and Helen Bechtel
