I am seeking information regarding Nelville Riviere whose given name is spelled variously on records of his existance: Nelville, Neheille, or Melville. Most often, however, it appears as Nelville, which I believe to be the proper spelling. According to a January 2000 posting on this message board, which was written by one Yvonne Riviere Pond (whom I am hoping to contact), Nelville was one of the children born (in Louisiana) to Pierre Numa Riviere and his wife, Louise Victorine Clementine Jolly. I have reason to believe that Nelville may have been the father of my paternal gra, so you can imagine how eager I am to get in touch with Yvonne Riviere Pond or anyone else who knows anything about this particular Riviere line.
