I have a lot of info on the Risers.George is the brother to Daniel Boston which is my GG Grandfather. His daughter Caroline is my G grandmother.Her daughter Margaret Kathline is my grand mother. She married Ernest Buckley in Kanawha Co.I have them back to Boston Riser b-1803.

I am looking for Boston Riser, who was married to Elizabeth (last name unknown). I can document they had a son Martin VanBuren Riser. Martin married Julia Ann Hynes & apparently later married Mary K Hynes. There were 2 sons Gearge Washington Riser(1854-1910) & Boston Daniel Riser who apparently is your GG grandfather. George married Caroline Elwick. I'm sure she is 1 & the same- sister of Martha. From George & Caroline down I have documented into my family (Burdette). As the story I know goes, there were 2 twin boys (Riser) who married 2 twin girls. Boston (guessing) may be a twin which is what I am trying to find out.?

Does anyone have any info or insight on the Kortz family? Or J. B. Kortz specifically. Of course it would help if I knew his first name.

My G Greatmother was a Rizer that lived in Nelsonville Ohio and she married a Emanuel ( Manny ) Oliver and they had my Grandmother Bertha Oliver who I am trying to find. If this is any good to you I will give what information I have to you on Elizabeths family.

Both are apparently buried in the Hyndman Cemetery, Bedford Co, Penn. but perhaps they lived elsewhere as I cannot find them in the 1900 census. William H. Carpenter was born about 1862 probably in Bedford Co. Sadie Bell Rizer was born 23 Jun 1870, Somerset Co, Penn. the daughter of Levi Rizer and Susan Bone. Sadie married William H.
