Rizzardi - Coredo, Trentino, Austria (now part of Italy)

After several years and the loss of various family members, I have returned to building my geneology. I am currently working on my grandfather's side. He was Massinio (Max) Rizzardi married to Louise V Gasperetti. His parents were Cesare (Charles) and Emilia (Mascotti) Rizzardi who came to the US in 1905. His parents were Giacomo and Domenica (Sicher) Rizzardi. I'm looking for information on Cesare's siblings. You can contact me at packer49@localnet.com.

I have trying to find any information about Louise Rizzardi. She ran a boarding house near? Lexington, Ky. in the 1920's & 30's. She had two sons that I know of. Louis and James. Any help would be appreciated. Keneen Peters

I have also been trying to reach Joan for over a year, with no luck. I am researching a possible connection between my family, the Weigele's, and the Risardi, Rezardi family of Iron Mt Michigan. My Great-Uncle Michael Weigele was most probably the 1/2 brother of a lady named Mary who married a Rezardi and who died in about 1984. I have found Mary Rezardi and family in the 1930 census, but am at a dead end.

I am trying to correspond with Joan Hulick. Does anyone have her current email? I am a descendant of Frank Rizzardi (Francesco, b. 7/7/1850, Coredo, Italy) and Augusta Henning (b. 1860, Eisleben, Germany) and share a bit of common ancestry with her.
I am also 2nd cousin to Jim Rizzardi who has posted here. Our Rizzardi branch is from Coredo/Iron Mountain, Michigan. Note: all Rizzardi's are probably related, originating from a man named Ricardo in 1400. Our real name is Rizzardo, Rizzardi is the plural form of the name. It is easy to see a connection between Ricardo and Rizzardo.

Connie, we are related. I am Charles and Eve Rizzardi's 3rd daughter, living in CA. I am trying to find out our link to Mother Pauline who will be canonized in Rome on May 19, 2002. I am told that she is related to the Rizzardi family. Do you know the connection? I tried to e-mail you privately some time ago but apparently had an old address. Dear Patricia,
I have just begun my family searches. My maternal grandmother married a Rizzardi and immigrated to America.
Her first name was Augusta and we feel she was from southern Europe. She had my grandmother Anne, before marrying Rizzardi and had two
daughters by him, Augusta and Daisy. They lived in Iron Mountain, MI. USA and we have found her listed in a
county census as being a laundress. We believe her maiden name was Henning but are not certain of that. She would
have come over here in the late 1800's. He was a large man, very good looking with a mustache. I have photos
of them that I could scan and send to you to see if there is any resemblance to your family.

My daughter and I spent a very hot afternoon looking for the gravestone of my other g.grandmother, Leocadie Dulong Marcotte with no success. Hopefully you can help me out

Hi, my name is Jim Rizzardi. My father was John Rizzardi and his Father and mother were Frank and Mary Rizzardi. My dad was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan as was his 5 siblings. I think grandpa Frank had a brother named Gus, perhaps a derivitive of the Augusta you mentioned.

I have more information in a booklet a cousin of mine put together and it's somewhere hiding at home. I will try to dig it out. They had a family reunion in Iron Mountain back in 1997 that I couldn't attend, hopefully, they will have another one soon. By the way, I guess Rizzardi was "Rizzardo" back in Italy....

I do not speak very much in english, but my family is from Italy, I do not from exactly where are they. My father was José Ramón Rizzardi, my grandfather was Ramón Rizzardi, but they had born in Argentina, my grandgrandfather was Italian, his name was Aníbal Rizzardi.
