I am a descendent of George Edward Roane born aug. 11, 1887 died jan. 8, 1948. He was a married in Middlesex Co. to Hallie Harriet Lee Powell whose ancestry goes back to the Montagues of Virginia..
I think his tree is to George Henry Roane and to Thomas Roane (1811-1872 and Thomas Roane (1781-1844)and to Alexander Roanes (1748-50 to 1785) of Middlesex Co.
If anyone can let me know if I am on the right tract it would be appreciated!! Or any information abou the Roanes listed.
