I found a small old photo on the thick card backing of a Clara I. or J. Rob. There is no photographer information so I do not know where it was taken, but the picture was found in an antique store in Little Chute, WI. If you would like this picture please contact me at bulblvr@aol.com. Thank you.

George Unruh(1824?) married Louisa Rob (1828?) in 1860 in IL. THe 1880 LaPorte co. IN. census shows both being born in PA.
Children all born in IL.

Emma 1872
Not listed on census is Anna b. 1861.

I have no Rob familymembers in Belgium. Between 1486 and present the hundreds I have were all born in the Netherlands.

Not sure I can really help you at this time however I am looking into the ROBs as well. My father is Robert Hubert Rob from Brussels, Belgium but I am searching more on his father's side, totally unknown to me. Any trace of Belgian members of the family in your research ?

I am trying to get the data of the descendants of Pieter Rob, born Berkhout,Netherlands January 2, 1840, died Chicago February 15, 1926. Immigrated to USA after 1894. His son Tijmen Rob, born January 26, 1875, also immigrated to USA, died May 15, 1929 in Chicago. I have their ancestry in Holland, which I am willing to share.
