I am trying to discover the maiden name for ANN ROBERTS wife of JASPER. They can be found in the 1870 Harrison Co., KY Census, page 219. Jasper (24) and Ann (14) are living in household 111. Head of Household is Hamon Scott (30), his wife is Susan (27), children: Wm, Charity, Hammond, ?Marsha. I think Susan may be Jasper's sister (1850 Harrison Co., KY, fam 940, George and Jane Roberts).

Jasper (33) and Ann (24) are in the 1880 Pendleton Co., KY Census with children: Albert (9), George (5), Sylvester (3), Norah (11m).
They next appear in the 1900 Spencer Co., IN Census. Jasper (60), Ann (44), James H (17), Richard (15), Hester (13), Clarence (9), Maud (6), Ferd (2)

The thing that links these two censuses are the obituaries of Albert (1930), Maud (1932), and Sylvester(1939), all Vanderburgh Co., IN.

Survivors for Albert are: Bros. James, Richard, Sylvester, Clarence and Ferd. Sis: Mrs. Maude Kramer. - Hester died in 1900 in Spencer Co., IN. I don't know what happened to George or Norah.

Survivors for Maud Kramer: bros. Clarence, Fred, James Richard Roberts. - I have no explanation for why Sylvester isn't listed as a survivor since he would have been alive at this time.

Survivors for Sylvester: bros. James, Richard, Ferd and Clarence Roberts.

My interest in finding the maiden name for Ann ROBERTS is to determine if she might be the sister of my g-grandfather, Richard Worth HEDRICKS, b. 1859 (obit says Harrison Co. KY but I haven't found him there yet).
