I descend from CHARLES ROBERTSON (1733 -- 1806, Washington Co., TN).

His son, WILLIAM (1761, VA -- 1843, Tippah Co., MS) is my 5th great grandfather. I can't locate any of his children, with the exception of my 4th great grandmother, SUSANNAH (abt 1783, TN -- betw 1866-1870, probably Tippah Co., TN).


SUSANNAH married ANDREW C. BLACKWOOD (1780, SC -- 1859, Tippah Co., TN) in about 1800.

My ROBERTSON line lived in Virginia, Washington Co., TN, Hardeman Co., TN and Tippah Co., MS.

The 1840 Tippah Co., MS Census lists ANDREW BLACKWOOD (husband of SUSANNAH ROBERTSON) and very near by, EZRA or ERZA ROBERTSON.

SUSANNAH's father, WILLIAM, died in Tippah Co., MS in 1843 and was living with SUSANNAH & her husband, ANDREW BLACKWOOD, at the time of his death.
