children, Joanna b. 1757, William b. 1759(my
gggg grandfather), Dorothy b. 1761, Mary b. 1763
and Grace b 1767, all at Fremington.

William married Elizabeth Sussex on 25 October
1784 at Horwood, North Devon. They had 10
children, Elizabeth 1785, Mary 1787, William 1789,
Thomas 1891, Ann 1794, Grace 1797, George 1799
(my ggg grandfather) Hannah 1803, Susan 1806,
Sarah 1810.

George married Mary Clarke 15 January 1828 at
Newton Tracey, North Devon. They had 10 children
Thomas 1828 (my gg grandfather) Grace 1830,
Mary 1832, Ann 1834, Frances Clarke 1836,
George 1838, William 1840, John 1843, Samuel
1846, Elizabeth Clarke 1848.

Thomas married Mary Jane Davey 11 Sept 1854
at Barnstaple, North Devon.
They had seven children John 1855, George Henry
1858 (my g grandfather), Selina 1860, Bessie 1862,
Elizabeth 1865 (emigrated to US), Selina Grace
1867 (emigrated to US) Alfred Thomas 1871
