I'm looking for information on the parents and family of Albert Rudolph Rodee b. 1894. He married Laura Belle Hudson by 1914 and had his first daughter, Bernice Alberta (my great grandmother), in 1915. His last name is beleived to come from his stepfather who was paid to marry his mother who had become pregnant by a German nobleman (so family legend says). The stepfather's name was Fred (short for?) Rode and the mother's name is beleived to be Minnie or Minna (short for Wilhemina?) Penshorn/Penzhorn/Penshock/Penzhock. There is so much confusion around these relatives and any information would be appreciated. Fred and Minnie would probably have been married in early 1894. Albert Rudolph was my great-great grandfather.
