Classification: Query
Surnames: Rodecker, Michel, Loewen
I'm looking for information on both the descendents & the ancestors of Jacob Rodecker & Ernestina ("Tina") Loewen Rodecker. This is what I have:
Jacob Rodecker (1841-1905) married Ernestina aka Tina Loewen (1853-1944) and they had the following children:
Ruben Max Rodecker (1873-1924); Frank Rodecker (1877-??); Herbert Rodecker (1879-??).
[Jacob was born in NYC but came to Fort Scott, Kansas, just after the Civil War; Jacob & Tina (aka Ernestina) are buried in Fort Scott.]
Ruben Max Rodecker (1873-1924) married Esther ??? (1873-1937) and they had the following children: Wallace B Rodecker (1896-??); Alvin M Rodecker (1901-??); Bernice M Rodecker (1904-??).
[Max (aka Ruben Max) & Esther are buried in Fort Scott, Kansas]
Alvin M Rodecker (1901-??) married Catherine Michel (19??-??).
Bernice Rodecker (1904-??) married Gilbert Michel (19??-??).
Catherine Michel Rodecker & Gilbert Michel were sister & brother.
The children & grandchildren who are not buried in Fort Scott, I believe ended up in Michigan & California.
I would welcome information. I'd also be willing to share photos of the Rodecker's old store in Fort Scott, as well as photos of their headstones.
