Does anyone have any information on the following Rodger family:
Robert S. Rodger b. Aug. 1861 in Canada.
Married to Margaret Tower(s) b. Nov. 1861 in Canada.
Had children:
Ella b. Nov. 1886 in Canada,
Georgia b. Apr. 1889 in New York,
Robert S. Jr. b. Feb. 1892 in New York,
Dorothy b. Feb. 1892 in New York (twins),
John b. June 1894 in New York,
William b. July 1895 in New York,
Winifred b. Sept. 1899 in New York.
All were found in the June 1900 census living in Brooklyn / Manhattan at 314 117th Street.
Robert was a Blacksmith (I have one of his orginial business cards). His shop was located at 2231 Eighth Ave. and 120th Street, New York (at that time his card says he resided at 313 West 120th St.).
Family was also known to have lived in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada.
I believe Robert had a brother named William Chicago Rodger who was a lawyer in Glens Falls, New York. William was b. 1871 d. 1949. Married to Leone Edna ? b. 1879 d. 1962.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sandy
