Mary Jane,
Your posting references your g-grandmother's DAR application information on the Rodham & Neale connections. Do you know your g-grandmother's DAR register number? I, too, am seeking to establish a DAR connection through these lines. I am attempting to make application to the DAR (Sons of the American Revolution -- SAR) for a friend who is a NEALE/RODHAM descendant.
Thank you for any assistance.

I am seeking more information on Mathew Rodham and Elizabeth Huitt. Did they have a daughter Mary? I am researching the Metcalfe families of Northumberland Co., Va and the Kenners, Neales, Eskridges, and Cralles are all part of the public records with William Metcalfe (deceased) and his wife Mary who later married Thomas Bearcroft/Barecroft. Was Mary a daughter of Mathew and Elizabeth Rodham? Son William Metcalfe brought numerous suits against Mary Bearcroft in the 1704-1705 timeframe. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is an index to the Ordnance Survey and parts of the map can be purchased as a photocopy for the Durham Records Office. Your section would be:-
(Name) Bantling Castle Colliery
(Sheet No) 11
(Quarter) SE
(Township) Iveston.
Durham Records Office has a web-site and an email address:-
http://www.durham.gov.uk/durhamcc/usp.nsf/web/pages+with+sec...

They may be able to give you some more information.

Harry
