I found this article in my grandmother's old stuff. It is from the Time dates April 13, 1943. It has some pictures of Rita Roeback who was in the WAAC at Fort Des Moines IA and worked in Memphis TN.

Looking for any information on William and his wife Jane. Both were born abt 1837 and lived to at least age 83.

I am looking for any information on the Roeback Family Tree.

I know that John Roeback was born in 1892 and married a women named Carmella Pontillo. She was born in Italy in 1908. She came to America in (?) and settled in Chicago.

John and Carmella lived in Summit, Il. and had four children.
John Jr., Charles (Buddy), Frank and Gloria.

John Sr. and Carmella are both buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.

Frank drowned when he was only 18 years old in 1952.
John Jr., Passed away in 1988, John Jr. had four daughters.

Charles passed away in 1985 and is buried in Bathania Cemetery in Justice, IL. Charles married Dorothy Usery and had three sons and a daughter.

Gloria passed away in 1989 and was cremated. Gloria had four sons and a daughter.

Any one with information on John Roeback Sr. and/or Carmella Pontillo Roeback will be greatly appreciated.

I found out that John Roeback Sr. was born in Pittsburg, Penn.

His mother's name was Anna Roeback, His father's Joesph Roeback.

They had John, Anna and another daughter.

Anna married a "Fisher"

John married Carmella and had four children.

Anna Roeback died in Argo, Illinois in January, 1927

Any more information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
