I picked up the following while going through the The Nashville Journal in Nashville, IL. So far he does not connect to my tree. But I though someone might use it. The Roedels I have in my tree were in Posey County, Ind.
Nashville Journal Feb 19, 1872
The body of Jacob Roedel, who had been buried about three years and eight months, was disinterred on the 19th inst. On examination, the body was found to be pretty much decomposed. It was taken in charge by his two daughters, to be conveyed by them to Decatur, Ind. Their departure from our town was much regretted by the peace-loving citizens of DuBois.
