My ancestor Collins Roff was born in Yates County, NY, 10 Mar 1811. He married Mary Ann Lowell of Chautauqua County, NY, and was living there in 1840. The family apparently lived in North East, Erie County, PA in the 1840s. Collins died in December 1861 in Maries County, MO. He and Mary Ann had two known children, Margaret Eliza, born 10 May 1840 and Lawrence James, born 14 Aug 1843. Margaret married William Israel Meeder; Lawrence married Mattie Prescott. Collins was evidently in Missouri with Margaret and her husband, who were also there in 1861. Mary Ann is believed to have remained in Chautauqua County, NY, where she died in 1873. I would very much llike to know Collins's siblings, ancestors, desendants, etc. I would be happy to share information on Margaret's descendants. Lawrence and Mattie had two sons who apparently never married, and no other descendants as far as I know.
