I have had this brick wall for sooooo long on my great grandfather: George Rogers. Here is what I know about him:

Birth: Abt. 1883 in Tennessee

In 1904, he was living in Little Rock, Arkansas. On 7 November 1904, he enlisted in the army. On his enlistment papers, he listed his occupation as a farm hand.

On 10 Aug 1908, he re-enlisted in the Army and was living in Missouri. He listed his occupation as being a clerk.

In the 1910 Federal Census, he is listed as living on a military base in Fort Casey, Washington.

On the 27 September 1911, he re-enlisted in the Army again, back in Missouri.

I cannot find him in the 1920 Federal Census.

In the 1930 Census, he is married to his wife Julia M. (Morris) Rogers. They also have a daughter together (my grandmother), Nancy Jean Rogers. According to the census, the couple had been married 6 years, putting their approx. marriage year as 1924.

I have no further information on the family. Any information recieved would be highly appreciated. My email is GenealogistElyse AT gmail DOT com. I would be happy to share information, stories, and pictures. Thanks.
