My gr gr grandfather was Michael Rohan b.c. 1812 in unknown Ireland who married Nov 27, 1832 Elizabeth Dolan b.c.1812 in unknown Ireland. Marriage took place in the ecclesiastical parish of Parteen, Co. Clare with witnesses Geoffrey Dolan (possibly Elizabeth's father)and Michael Laughlin. 1833 baptismal record for first child, Mary, gives residence as Cratloe. Other children, John J., Martin John, Bridget, Elizabeth and Annie all born in nearby Derrymore. This family began immigrating into Chicago, IL c. 1865. The entire family here by 1874 with the exception of son Patrick who I have no information.
