Claus Hinrich Rohwer/Eliese Thiessen Germany to Nebraska

Surnames: Rohwer, Thiessen, Paustian
I have a Claus Hinrich Rohwer born Oct 28,1840 married to Eliese Thiessen born July 11,1856 and two sons Claus Hermann Rohwer April 8, 1876 and Johann Detlef Rohwer born May 29, 1880 who came to America in 1890 from Pahlen S-H Germany to Nebraska. Herman C. (the older son) as he went by lived in Cedar Bluffs and married Clara M. Paustian having a large family. I can't find anything on what happened to Johann Detlef Rohwer or their father. Eliese died in Nebraska after married two more times. One source thinks that they first came to Indiana or somewhere before Nebraska
and that maybe where Claus Hinrich died and Johann settled. Could use help.
