The Roig's I come from lived in Mayaguez. Yes, some were writers and poets and some became very rich and left to Humacao in Puerto Rico. The ones that left to Humacao made a bank, The Roig Bank. I became and English Teacher and work here in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. A cousin of mine, Rafael Alberto Roig Roig made a family tree of the Roig's. He actually lives in Barcelona and has 3 daughters.
