Texas_ Dad is from Chicago but we are Puerto Rican. Apparently we have family on the island but I've never met any family. My mom is white and I know more of her side.

Does anyone know Angel (gelo) Roldan from Aguadilla pr? probably born around 1898 or early 1900 and was married to Ramona Portalatin (nana), he was my grand father, i bearly knew him, he lived in aguadilla most of his life, in a placed called caban. if you have any info please send me an email to josephroldan@gmail.com

Hey I just read your post and I noticed that you listed Zacatecas. I'm not sure if you know any Roldans from Jerez. Some of my aunts are still there Rosalva, Celia, and Olivia. My grandparents go out to visit often they are Gilberto Roldan and my grandmother is Maria Conception but we call her Concha for short. I'm just curious.

Wow, I never knew there were that many Roldan families. All I know is that My dad's family comes from Jerez, Zacatecas Mexico. They are a huge family. My grandpa is Gilberto Roldan and all the kids(uncles/aunts)are: Juan, Antonio, Rafael, Vicente, Olivia, Esperanza, Ofelia, Rosalva, Celia, and Ignacio. I also belive that is not that many of us . I moved from PR 15 yr ago and is only 2 familys that have the last name, but is about 108 of us just in my family in PR,NY,PA,IL,FL and CA.

i am rolly roldan, originally am from the philippines but me and my family are now a resident ok UK for almost 5 years now. You know my grandfather have told me that his father have told him that our family originally come from SPAIN, but for my own understanding we have had only one ancestor and am also very curious to know.

It sounds like my dad... Was he tall, short, big or small guy? I am very intregued to see if we are talking about the same guy... I know that when I moved to PR I lost all contact from him. I tried calling but I never got any return calls. It would be very nice to find out what has happened to him. I have no past issues with him, it just my curiosity of what he is doing? And to find out how many Step brothers and Step sisters I may have. The last time I counted, I had 2 new sibilings (a brother and a sister)and 1 on the way (which could be you)... All from different women...

I know that when my dad divorced my mom, he had visitation rights for the weekends. So on the weekends we would go to his new family house. I know I had (have)a brother, but we spent very little time with them. I believe my ex step mom name was Dale... Could this be you? I don't have any pictures. I don't know if my dad was ever in jail...

I am not sure about this (if he went to jail) because I live in another state. I know my sister saw him about 10 years ago in the South Ozone Park area in Queens.

I had a boyfriend in the late 1960's named Carmelo Roldan. He lived in Brooklyn then moved to Queens. He would be about 61 years old or so, could this be him? He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and moved to NY when he was about 19. I know he was a Postman and had a daughter, although he and his baby's mother were not married. The daughter would be about 33-35 years old more or less. Is this you?

My parents and sister live in California and we are originally from Puerto Rico!
