ROFL,I never knew it Rolla, until I started the genealogy about 4 years ago Our name was always ROLLO in my growing up...And believe me we took a lot of teaseing about it to... After I started the genealogy I found my great grandparentsmarrige record and it was spelled ROLLA, then I found their graves and it was spelled ROLO I have found it spelt ROLLOW to... I'm sorry I have no idea how Rolla pronouced but it was once spelled ROLLO,which ROLLA are you a descendent of? We just might tie in togather along the line some where...

I was named for My Grand Father Rolla O.Russell
For my 50 th. Birthday I called Rolla MO. Library A Young Lady answered the phone Rallah Library she said the founders were from Raliegh NC. that was how they pronounced it. School Teachers Gave Me A Fit!
