Takes Money from Runaway Wife
Streator, Oklahoma, May 22 – E. W. Rollins, an aged and wealthy farmer, returned to his home here Monday with $12,000 he had taken from his runaway wife who is 20 years his junior at the point of a revolver when he trapped her and his adopted son at Tahlequah.
Rollins found the pair in a hotel and with a detective, faced them. Leveling the revolver at them, he forced them to give back the money which they had taken in their fight. The old man was lenient, however, and allowed them to keep $1,500. The adopted son’s name is Harold Morgan.
