Roma from MA and ME and Halifax PEI areas

I am a descendant of de Roma of Bordeaux, France who founded part of PEI, Canada and later had family settle in Chezzetcook, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Some had their names changed to Romo and Romeo by employers and some descendants still have those names but some Roma remain in Nova Scotia and MA and ME in the US.
