YOUNGSTOWN – Brenda Lynn Romack, 54, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 12, 1957, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of David and Donna Cook Romack.
Brenda was a graduate of Champion High School and Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. She was employed as the Band Director at Lisbon Exempted Village School District and was formerly Band Director at Warren G. Harding High School.
Brenda was a longtime member of Packard Concert Band, where she was the Lead Trumpeter, also a member of the Youngstown Symphony, Sheet and Tube Brass Quartet, Top Notes, Ohio Music Educators Association, International Trumpet Guild, and the Dixieland and Dance Band.
Brenda is survived by her father, David (Kay) Romack of Champion; mother Donna Romack of Warren; sister Jennifer (Julie Pullen) Romack of Los Angeles; brothers Victor (Doreen) Romack of Warren and Steven (Kathy) Romack of St Louis; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, and also one hour prior to the service, all at the funeral home.
