If there are any Romano descendants from Lapio in the province of Avellino, I have done considerable research on vital
statistics for the period of 1809 to 1899. I would be glad to share the info or to look up particular individuals. I have the LDS
microfilms from Lapio on long term loan in my local Family History Center.
My grandfather was Antonio Romano from Lapio and he married Olimpia Pasquale from Lapio after he emigrated to the US
(Revere, MA).
