I am looking for any info about my gr gr grandmother. I believe she may have been of native indian descent but not sure. Her daughter thought she was born in Vermont but she may be from Canada. She married Thomas Forcier sometime before 1865. Her name is spelled as Melvina Rondo but there may be an alternate spelling. One of her children, Mary Lavina Forcier was born 12-25-1865 in Vermont. I have no information other than Melvina had 11 or 12 children and some were born after 1886. They moved to Sauk Centre, Minnesota in 1877 or 1878. I have found the info from different census reports that shows a Thomas and Melvina Forcier moved to Washington state but much of the info doesn't seem to fit. I may be wrong.
