Looking for information on Lilly and Lula Roper, daughters of Joseph P. Roper and Dovie (Snow) Roper, Mt. Park, Kiowa county Oklahoma. Lilly was born in 1919 and Lula was born in 1921. Last sign of them is the 1930 Kiowa county, Mt. Park Oklahoma census and they are in the household of their grandparents Robert and Missouri Snow.
Dovie died in 1921 (coincidence or as result of birth of Lula, not sure) and is buried at Navajo cemetery Jackson county, OK. Joseph remarried and eventually ended up in CA.
Was told that the girls were raised by Joseph's parents, Joseph Alexander Roper and Lou Dora (Walters). I have not found any evidence of this or the girls. Any information one may have would be appreciated. Thank you.
