I would appreciate any information anyone has to offer about the Roper family. My great grandmother was Ida Blanche Roper, she was born and raised in Missouri, but her family came from North Carolina. I am trying to find historical documents, notable events, etc. Really anything pertaining to Ropers and their families.

I also would love to hear from some fellow Roper descendants.

Son: Robert Patton b. 1871, NC married Anna Purdy
Dau: Ida Roper b. 1910, MO md Larkin Collins
Son: Paul Collins b. 1936, MO md Wilma Tooley
Dau: Karen Collins(my mom)

I have not gotten farther back past David Roper. I do have several of the siblings down the line.
