Hello, Lucia,
Is your grandfather from Jalisco? Mine was. He married my grandmother in Texas, which is where she was born. From what I understand, his family in Jalisco was relatively wealthy because he attended a military academy. I haven't done much research on this line. Have you done any?

Nice to hear from you,
Veronica

Virginia & Manuela Rosas

I'm looking for information on two sisters, and any family they may have had. Both sisters were born in Mexico, probably in or near Namiquipa, Chihuahua.

Virginia Rosas, born approximately between 1860-1880. Had at least two children: Catalina Ortiz (born about 1900) and Paula Ortiz. As far as I know, Virginia did not live in the US. Her daughter Catalina did.

Manuela Rosas, born about 1861. Had at least two children: Maria Esperanza Espinoza and Juana Espinoza (born about 1888). (Possibly Espinosa instead of Espinoza.) Manuela and her daughter Juana lived in the US between 1917 and 1922. They were debarred from re-entering the US in 1924.
