When Samuel Sunderland's first wife Merrey died in 1826, he remarried
Esther (Graham) Stewart whose husband Alexander Stewart died in 1825

The Sunderland Family Bible was in the possession of James C. Stewart
(1896-1968) at the time of his death. The following notations are transcribed
here as they appear:
