My wife is a direct descendant of William Edward Roth b 15 Aug 1889 in Miles City, Custer Co, MT, son of Martha (Mattie) Jane (Patterson) Roth b. feb 1856 in MS. Looking for Mr Roth b. abt 1844 in NY who died before aug 1895. Mattie Jane and William Edward were in the 1900 Hurricane and Mattie died. The census shows her as a widow and William Edwards father was from NY.
