While doing research at the South Carolina Historical Society, I came across the following ROUSER / ROWSER ?ROUSAR Parish entries in Christ Church Parish...

Christ Church Parish Register, Mt. Pleasant, SC:

"Moses JOY was Married to Mary ROWSER June ye 18, 1724"

"Mary ROUSER ye Daughter of Rich ROUSER & Susanna his Wife was born Oct 4 1726 & was Baptized Apr 10 1727"

"Richard ROUSAR son of Richard ROUSAR and Susannah his wife was born Feb 7 1727/8 & was Baptized Mar ye 10th 1727/8"

Richard ROUSAR son of Richard ROUSER and Susanna his wife, was Buried July 8 1729"
