I have been trying to find information on my husband's family. His grandfather's name was Raphael Russeau born about 1910 in Monroe County, Monroe, Michigan. His Great-Grandfather's name was Jerome Russeau(married to Clarissa). I believe that they may have migrated from Canada but I'm not sure. Jason's(my husband)mother said she had asked once and was told that they were France/French and not Canadian/French but I think they may have come from Canada. I am also pretty sure that the spelling probably used to be Rousseau. If this makes sense to anyone or you might be able to direct me in the right direction, any help would be greatly appreciated.
