Henry Benton Rowell, born 3/17/1887 in Lynn, Massachusetts, was my great-grandfather. His father was John Lindsay Rowell, and his mother was "Mattie" Rowell, maiden name unknown. According to the family story, Mattie was 1/2 Arapaho Indian. I would like to know more about this part of the family's history. I have not yet done the DNA analysis to determine if this story is true, and am not sure it would be able to give me that information. Can anyone help? Thanks!
