there are a lot of thomas roxburghs in the world(i am a roxburgh myself). my brother's name is thomas roxburgh but i doubt he's who you're looking for because he's 16. i don't know anyone called margeret roxburgh, but it would help if i knew which country you are looking in.

My great grandfather was a Thomas Roxburgh (b. 1901 Liverpool d. 1952 Liverpool and he married a Margaret AllEn (b. 1902 Liverpool; d. 1984; Whiston) in 1921.

Have you tried looking at the Roxburgh of Ayrshire for any links to your family??? There are loads of Roxburghs in the OPR for Ayr. Hope this helps a bit.

the only thomas roxburgh i know of was born 1868 avonton perth his father was maxwell roxburgh and mother mary brooks. hope this helps if i hear of any more i'll let you know

hello scott my mother was adopted out of the roxburgh family she was born february 1915 in edmonton alberta canada i have tracked down alot of her birth family some of them are in the usa the mothers name before marriage was beatrice amy roxburgh her mother was may lillian adams and her father was william roxburgh do you think you have a connection to these people beatrice must have spent her chil hood in perth ontario the ancestors go back to liddisdale,greenhill,the dinley and stitchell scotland hope to hear from you

Just found this site by accident. I'm interested in seeing how many Roxburgh's are out there. I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, but have lived in the U.S. for 20 years now. I have traced my great great grandfather Geo Roxburgh who is described on the 1881 UK census as a naval pensioner. He was married to Ellen b. St. Germain, Cornwall 1822. He had two children Margaret b. Devonport 1862 and my great grandfather, also George, b. Devonport 1865. Any information on other Roxburgh's from Annan would be appreciated, or on marriage details.

Seeking birth place of Isabella Scott (supposedly from Scotts of Buccleuch) who married in Bewcastle, Cumberland in 1782, a Gideon Miller. They lived at Steppings, Bewcastle, Cumberland until Gideon died in 1822. isabella then moved to Greenholme, Bewcastle until she died in 1837.
Searching for birth places of both Isabella Scott and Gideon Miller who was born about 1749 - we think they may have been born in Scotland - maybe in Roxburgh or Midlothian areas.
