Hello John,

Thanks for your email. We have in the past discussed the possibility of Edward ROXBY on the 1861 and 1871 census being the same person as my Edward GRAHAM (who I have on the 1881 at Monkwearmouth Shore , England - he is in the USA in 1891 - and I have him on the 1901 in Newbottle, Co Durham, England) but could not up to now find the connection.

Are you asking me, or telling me, that Edward ROXBY (his father) married a Frances GRAHAM (her birth name)?. Have you got documentation to this effect? If so that would maybe give us the proof we need. Up to now I can't find that.

I am going to try to find Edward ROXBY's baptism and if I have any luck I will get back to you with my findings.

Not sure if you found Edward ROXBY on the 1871 census but the amily are listed as RAPELY - but definitely the ROXBY family.

We will eventually get this sorted haha.

Kind regards
Sue
