Royalty, Jane

ROYALTY-Jane Royalty, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2006 at her home in Pasadena, where she had lived for over 50 years. Jane was born Janet Patricia Swaim in Los Angeles on June 20, 1920, and lived most of her life in the Los Angeles area. In 1941 she married Malcolm Boyce Royalty and was widowed in 1984. She is survived by four of her children, Janice, Malcolm, Jr., Timothy and Marjorie, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her son, Jeffrey predeceased her by a month. Jane was an avid gardener and active in a number of charities and philanthropy. Her independent, fun and feisty spirit will be missed. A graveside memorial service will be held June 6, 2006 at 11:00a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to your favorite charity.
