i have been trying to research my family for a number of years with no success until today..on ellisisland.org i finally found my grandfathers name..Ignatz rudolf (we spell it rudolph today), in 1907 on the Barbarossa. so i am looking for any info i can find.
his wife's name was fannie (lewitz was her maiden name),
they settled in stoneboro pa. (wayne Co.),and had several children...

albert--died in a car accident

my grandfather was a coal miner, and they moved quiet a bit.he died in 1944
one brother worked for a car manufacturing co.
carol ann lived in Pittsburgh
Mike lives in Butler
jesabell lives in California
It has been a tough search..records state he was married when he came over...
I don't know if they came over by themselves or with any sibblings....
any help would be greatly appreciated..
there are only 2 members of the family left, and my father does not have long to live, and has greatly enjoyed having this done..
