What county are you Ancestors from?
Grandfather’s Side:
Great Grandfather Chaim (Hyman in English) Rudoff married Great Grandmother Chaye Wolkoff. They were the parents of Grandfather Abraham Elliott Rudoff (born January 10 1877 or 1879) and Great Uncle Reuben Rudoff. The Family was originally from an area called Vilnya (Vilnia) in the Village of Sheliba (Seliba), Minsk, Russia.
When Abraham and Reuben came to America the Surname on record from Ellis Island is Rudoff, (name may have been changed from Rudowski, Rudovski, Rudov, or Rudakov, when they came to America).

He settled in Oldenburg,In, where his brother, Father Franz Joseph Rudolf immigrated to and established the Catholic chruch, Holy Family and started the Francisican Convant there. I would like to see the naturalization record and any information you have Iowa Rudolf's.

DoD Identifies Army Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the death of seven soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died Sept. 18 when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were in went down in the vicinity of Tallil, Iraq.

Killed were: (see link for complete release)

Chief Warrant Officer Brady J. Rudolf, 37, of Oklahoma City, who was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 149th Aviation, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Oklahoma National Guard, Lexington, Okla.

The incident is under investigation.

I recognized your name from Jim Rudolph's "Rudolph Roots" book. You and I share Andreas Rudolph as a common ancestor. He's my 5th great-grandfather.

I have a copy (from microfilm at the LDS geneology library) showing the marriage of Andreas's maternal grandparents Jacob Fussy and Anna Baldy. Maybe someone can help me. I have a copy of a naturalization record for a John Rudolph. His name was John Hudoff (had a father named George). He (John) was born 1836 in possibly Alsace-Lorraine area that was owned by Germany at the time. The record states that he was a native of Hanover but came from Bremen to New York on December 6, 1853. Last name changed from Rudolph to Rudolf in the next generation. They lived in Indiana (Lawrenceburg)- Dearborn and Franklin county areas. Some of them migrated to Madison County, Iowa, where many Rudolfs still lived and many are buried. My grandmother was a Rudolf before marriage. Please let me know if anyone has any information on this family. I know that John Rudolph was married to a Maria Margaret Volz but family records also indicate marriage to a "Florence Nokey", but no records for her in the census. Any help is appreciated.

Looking for descendants to Karl August Julius Rudolf, born 25/12 1873 in Höreda Sweden.
He was married to Emma Josefina Isaksdotter born 24/8 1878 i Hultsjö Sweden.
They had three children, Karl Gustav Helge 21/11 1900, Elsa Berta Maria 12/10 1902 and Rut Svea Ingeborg 19/3 1906.
They came to Canada in 1910 and I´d like to know where they settled down and when they died..

Also the most interseting thing is that Sarah's mother was a powhatan indian. So that would mean your gr. gr. grandmother was a powhatan indian. Also there is a family rumor that she is descended from Pochahontas.

Sarah's parents were Christian Daubert and Susannah Barbar Kocher. She had a sister Mrs. Jacob (Salinda) Mummie, Mrs. Samuel (Caroline) Roth, Miss Mary Daubert, Mrs. John (Lydia) Ritter, as second Mary born 20 yrs. later. Three brothers, Reuben, John, and Jacob. I don't have my info. infrontof me, but I can try to see what I remeber. Salinda Daubert Mummie (who was my gr. gr. gr. gr. grandmother) was born on Dec. 25, 1828. Ill send more later

hello there-- my names bill graver and my grandmother is the daughter of conrad peter rudolph.
her name is cora (rudolph) graver--born 1879- died 1899.
she married my grandfather emil graver in 1898 and they had one child togather, my father-edward graver in 1899.
about four months after my father was born she died .
conrad is my great grandfather and his wife sarah danbert
was my grandmother--so I think we have a conection.

conrad and sarah's children---they had 14 children.
the trouble is , I have no info on sarah daubert, and

I see you've been talking to my cousin freddy
carroll-- his grandfather and my grandmother
were brother and sister--I got a chance to meet
freddy over the christmas hollidays--I really enjoyed
meeting him and his wife--freddy and I have a lot in connon---we talked about rudolph- button-- and corroll
families and spent time getting to know eachother
both freddy and I have a lot of info on the rudolph
family but I know very little about the daubert family
I hope you will help me on my great grandmother

My gr. gr. gr. gr. grandmother was Salind Daubert and her sister Sarah Daubert was married to Conrad Rudolph. i can't really help with their children, but I can with Sarah's family. Did you know she was half indian?

Also I take a German class and it is acutally Kassel, Hessen , Germany. Kassel is the city and Hessen is the federal state it is located in.

My gr. gr. gr. gr. grandmother was Salinda Daubert and her youngest sister was Sarah Daubert and she was married to Conrad Peter Rudolph. Is anyone related to a family that would have a photo of Doris Catalin Esterhazy of Cleveland? Or a ledger book with Ing Rudolf, Praha stamped in it? Or someone who moved to Lake Worth, Florida?

I have what appears to be a little pile of notebooks, address books, photos of relatives from perhaps Czechoslovakia, with 1920s photos, and some taken in the 1960s maybe. It appears to be someone who lived in Cleveland and retired to Florida? There are lots of names, but a difficult handwriting to understand. Please find a home for them, they were found in a garage sale in Florida. Otherwise I will throw them away.

STOCKTON (San Joaquin County) July 25, 1906- Samuel Rudolff died at Emergency Hospital yesterday as a result of being kicked by a horse the day before. He was 65 years of age and displayed remarkable fortitude.

My father came from Hohenbach to Canada in the early 1900
He was born in Hohenbach in 1898 and died in 1990 in Winnipeg Man. Canada.He had 8 children all still alive.
I can go back in the ancestry .com file until the year 1663.
The name had been changed from Rudolph to Rudolf in about the early 1700 . My dads name was Heinrich,we called him
Henry.

i have been trying to research my family for a number of years with no success until today..on ellisisland.org i finally found my grandfathers name..Ignatz rudolf (we spell it rudolph today), in 1907 on the Barbarossa. so i am looking for any info i can find.
his wife's name was fannie (lewitz was her maiden name),
they settled in stoneboro pa. (wayne Co.),and had several children...

It has been a tough search..records state he was married when he came over...
I don't know if they came over by themselves or with any sibblings....
any help would be greatly appreciated..
there are only 2 members of the family left, and my father does not have long to live, and has greatly enjoyed having this done..

Tammy, Charlie Rudolf was my uncle. His wife Alice Marie Boyle was my moms older sister. They lived in Chester Penna.

I believe Andrew was born in 1838 and married in 1864 to Marion Mohnetbaler. Besides John they had two other children, Elizabeth and Emilio. My father emigrated from Grimmelshofen to the U.S., sometime in 1911 or 1912, leaving his entire family behind in Germany. Steve - I am tracing my Kronenberger family, some o which emigrated to Galicia and some further north near Warsaw. They seem to have lived previously in Niederhausen an der Appel in the Pfalz. Have you come across the name, and do you have any research suggestions? Thanks.

Jens, thanks for your response. My earliest known ancestors are Christian Kronenberger, born about 1740 (place unknown) and Wilhelm Kronenberger, born 1772 (place unknown). Both died in Poland not far from Warsaw, in 1791 and 1818, respectively. Christian appears to have had other sons named Gottlieb and Jakob who went to Poland, and a daughter Anna Elisabetha who married a man named Daeubler. Anything close to this in your family book? I would be interested in any Cronenberger/Kronenbergers listed from the 1700's. I really appreciate your help.

I am looking for an Information on a Charles Rudolf who shows up in
the 1827 census of Jeddore , Nova Scotia Canada . He shows up as a Negro , a Presbysterian fisherman with a wife and 3 daughters. He and his family does not appear in the 1838 or subsequent enumerations for the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia . Would like to know where he and his family ended up .

My Name is Jens Hühner, Germany. I puplished a Family-Book of Niederhausen/Appel, with all families betwenn 1690 and 1950. The Rudolys lived there in the 18th. Century. Some of them went of to Galizia. Even the Cronenberger are grom there. What do You want to know? The old house, where they lived, is still there.
