my great grandfather was from Lammerdan, Germany (if that is spelled wrong, blame it on my ancestors past who spelled it that way in all the documentation I've found thus far.)
anyway...his name was Wilhelm Rudolph. born 5 January 1872 and came to America when he was 17. his parents were Henry Rudolph and Sabina Lotze.
