I see several queries for the surname "rue" in other states, but haven't seen anything in minnesota. my grandmother's maiden name is rue (alpha gjersten). her parents are christine and evan and one brother clarence, aka swen. she grew up around the winnebago - amboy area and eventually lived in mankato. she married herbert peter spenger and they had one son, lyle herbert (aka: bud) i believe she may have some relatives in the mapleton, minnesota area but unclear how close these folks might be. any info would be greatly appreciated!! thanx!
