I erroneously posted my message to the Schulte board. My great grandfather above lived in St. Charles Mo. area. His daughter was my grandmother. I believe he is listed in the 1870 census but 2 others are not. In the civil war muster rolls he and Justus and Paul (apparently John Paul) are listed in Missouri, same units etc. I am guessing they were brothers. Justus and John Paul have civil war pension records. John Paul lists a widow as Henrietta C. Rubeling; I assume he died in that war or at least his widow could get a pension due to his service. I have no information about children but the time and dates are right for Adam to be my great, great grandfather. Hope this helps someone. Any information would be appreciated. My Adam married Dina Berkiemier and they lived in the St. Charles area.
