I am looking for any information on the surnames of Ruiz and Villicana. My grandmother's name was Trinidad Ruiz, Ruiz and she was born around 1903. Her parents were Pasquala Ruiz, ?, and Lucio, Ruiz, ?. My grandmother was 1 of 4 sisters- Mona, Aurora (Bora), and Antonieta(tonia). My grandfather's name was Luis Villicana Gaytan and he was born around 1892. His parents were Maria de Jesus Gaytan, ?, and Ramon Villicana, ? . He was 1 of 5 children- Rafael, Vicente, Hermelinda, and Carmen. These 2 families fled from Michuacan, Mexico around 1915 and came to Kansas with many other mexicans. My great grandparents returned to Morelia, Michuacan around 1920 when it was safe to come back; but my grandparents got married in Independance, Kansas and stayed longer until about 1931 or 1932.
